Hi, this is ladyfirebird.

This journal is a place where I can collect my ramblings about my spiritual life. As I've been walking the journey of faith, I've discovered that I want a single, dedicated place to collect all my thoughts in that direction. Hopefully over time it will become a chronicle of my spiritual development.

Although this journal is not meant as an interactive forum, there are no friends-only entries. All entries are public. As such, there's no need for me to define any friends of this journal. If you want to add it to your friends list, you're more than welcome, but please understand I will not add it back. Also, this journal is mostly uncensored. I'm not using real names, but the thoughts are real even if they're not necessarily the kind I'd vocalize in general conversation.

In case you're curious, the username for this journal is the surname of my patron saint, St. Catherine of Siena, mystic, stigmatist, and the first female Doctor of the Church. The userpic is a medal of her ecstasy before the cross. Scripture references are from the New American Bible.
